    Poppy

Poppy has had a couple of bad days. She had a very upset tummy, so we couldn't give her her anti-inflammatories, and yesterday she was so stiff and uncoordinated in the back legs, she kind of fell down the ramp into the garden. Last night she was obviously a bit uncomfortable and restless, and...

    "Queen" Lilly ❤️ 15 years

I understand exactly what you are going through Jac. It's so very difficult and painful. I was just saying to my OH, if only we didn't have to make the decision, if someone else would say 'today is the right time', that would somehow make it easier, but the fact that we have to make the...

    Poppy

Poppy is 13 and Merlin 8. They are energetic when there is a reason to be so - for instance if there has been a hedgehog down the garden, then Poppy forgets all her aches and pains and charges around huffing and snorting in true hunting dog mode

    Poppy

Took the dynamic duo out for a walk in a local meadow with a stream running along it (and of course a nice cafe for us, with a view of a castle on a hill in the distance...). The outing was much enjoyed by all! We find taking Poppy out for little jaunts keeps her happy and engaged - she tends to...

    Jazz

I hope Jazz bounces back quickly after her spay. Poor little thing, and poor you - it's not easy, is it?

    Red has a lump

Poppy is covered in lumps! They don't seem to bother her at all. We had one needle aspiration done, but since then I've just let them alone. Good job for having it checked out by the vet.

    Muzzles for travelling

I bought a muzzle for Poppy when we were taking her up a cable car in the Alps, but in the event they waved us through and she didn't have to wear it, phew! It was one of those muzzles that velcro around the muzzle, so you can loosen or tighten as needed, and I think it is still gathering dust...
